Bert Fish, Vice President, Loss Prevention
Bert Fish joined the Seattle Goodwill team in May 1999 and was given the responsibility of building a Loss Prevention Department from the ground up. Bert now leads a team of highly skilled Area Loss Prevention Managers, each of whom is assigned a geographic area of responsibility. Bert has over three decades of experience in Security, Loss Prevention, Asset Protection and Operations and earned his certification as a CPP (Certified Protection Professional) in 2000. He is an active member of the American Society of Industrial Security, an associate member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, the Northwest Crime Prevention association, and a charter member of The Loss Prevention Foundation. He holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Management Study. Bert also has over 30 years (active and reserve) service in the Army. Highlights of his military career include being selected as "Distinguished Honor Graduate" of the Warrant Officer Candidate Course, as "Honor Graduate" of the Warrant Officer Advanced Course, several combat tours and serving as a member of a "Foundation of Four" senior leadership team. Bert has earned numerous awards including two Bronze Stars, Army Achievement Medals, Army Commendation Medals, Overseas Service Medal, Expeditionary and Campaign Medals and the Combat Action Badge.
