Where to Trick or Treat— All Over Puget Sound!

Are you looking for family-friendly Halloween fun? From pet costume contests to dancing zombies, to friendly merchants with plentiful candy, we’ve got you covered.

And don't forget to snap some pictures while you're dressed up and enter them in our annual costume contest

Seattle

North

  • Green Lake: Oct. 30, 6 - 7 pm. Free pumpkin carving contest at the Green Lake Community Center (ages 6-11), followed by a Teen Flashlight Candy Hunt at 8 pm.
  • Phinney/Greenwood: Oct. 31, 12 - 3 pm. Hunger Goblin Trick or Treat at businesses along Phinney and Greenwood Avenues. Donate a can or food or $2 at various donation stations on the route and help the Greenwood Food Bank.
  • Wallingford: Oct. 31, 2 - 5 pm. Trick or treating at the Wallingford Center, a historic, converted school building. Bring a donation of nonperishable food for Family Works.
  • Ballard: October 23, 6 - 9 pm. Loyal Heights Community Center Halloween Carnival, ages 0-12. Expect trick-or-treating on Ballard’s Market Street– check myballard.com for more information.
  • Fremont: October 31, 3 - 6 pm. Trick-or-Treat Fremont is for children age 10 and under, with 150 participating businesses within one square mile.

Central

  • Queen Anne: October 30, 3 - 6 pm. Halloween goodies from the Upper Queen Anne Avenue merchants —very popular, and a day early this year.
  • Montlake: October 31, after dark. Gaze at spookily decorated houses in Hauntlake, including the “Trick or Treat House” (2236 Blaine Street) and watch for a food drive/bake sale staffed by skeletons.
  • Capitol Hill: October 31, 12 - 7 pm. Hilloween is a family friendly event, held this year at the Mitchell Activity Center (Seattle Central College) including a carnival and costume parade. Trick or Treat on Broadway until 7 pm, with free pizza slices at Pagliacci for kids in costume!
  • Downtown Waterfront: October 29, 5 - 8 pm.  Trick or treat along the waterfront, with fun activities for little ones, including tricycle races, a photo booth, and character meet and greets.

West

South

  • International District: October 17, 11 am - 3 pm. Wear your Halloween costume to Fall Family Harvest at Occidental Park, and enjoy an inflatable obstacle course, treats and more.
  • International District:  October 30, 6 - 8 pm.  Fright Fest, with costume carnival and games, $1 per child.
  • Rainier Beach, October 24, 10 am – noon. Toddler Halloween Fest at Rainier Community Center, 4600 38th Ave. South.
  • Rainier Beach: October 31, 4 - 8 pm. Boo Bash at the Beach held at Safeway Rainier Beach with games and goodies.

South End

  • Renton:  October 31, 4 - 6 pm. Trick or Treat Street at The Landing.
  • Tukwila: October 31, 5 - 7 pm. Trick or Treat at Southcenter Mall for Halloween fun, rain or shine.

 

Kitsap

 

Eastside

  • Kirkland:  October 31, 2 - 7 pm. Kirkland Downtown Trick or Treat, also includes Kirkland Park Place.
  • Bellevue:  October 24, 9:30 am - 5 pm. Bellevue SpookFest Pumpkin Festival at South Bellevue Community Center. Carnival games, plus The Great Pumpkin Race, 10 am - 12 pm — bring your decorated pumpkin complete with wheels.

 

North

  • Edmonds: October 31, 5 - 7 pm. Trick or treating in downtown Edmonds, plus costume contests for people and pets.
  • Marysville: October 31, 4:30 - 5:30 pm. Halloween fun with the merchants in downtown Marysville. Costumes optional.

 

Bellingham

  • Downtown Bellingham: October 30, 3 - 5 pm. Trick or treat more than 100 merchants.
  • Fairhaven:  October 31, 3 - 6 pm. Trick or treat in Bellingham’s Fairhaven historic district.  “Zombies” will perform Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” in Fairhaven at 7:30 pm and at a later time in downtown Bellingham.
