At Goodwill, we rely on skilled and dedicated volunteers to achieve our mission of changing lives through jobs. By giving of your time and your talents, you can become an integral part of this mission and benefit not just the people Goodwill serves, but our entire community.
There are many ways to get involved as a volunteer including:
- Job Training & Education tutor, instructor’s aide, and computer lab assistant
- Vintage Fashion Collection model, assistant, or researcher
- Administration and Support Services department support
- Special events
- Corporate volunteer opportunities

Volunteer at the Glitter Sale Preview event on Thursday, Nov. 3 from 3:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Click here to sign up! Preview volunteers will have the opportunity to shop the Preview sale (after their shift) by purchasing half price tickets.

Juliana Santos grew up in Brazil. As a girl in her home country, she learned English and experienced difficulties that many of our students face. As an adult in Brazil, she taught English. When she and her husband moved to Seattle less than two years ago, she was introduced to Seattle Goodwill through a new friend who was taking classes. In February of 2015, she began volunteering in our Seattle Job Training and Education (JTE) Center, and has since donated over 600 hours of her time. Read More
