Basic Skills & GED Preparation Classes

If you would like to strengthen your math, writing or language skills for use in the workplace, our Basic Skills classes are for you. You’ll fill gaps in your education, prepare to take the GED, and prepare for work or for other Goodwill job training and education programs.

Classes include:

• GED Preparation - Reading
• Math - Basic
• Math - Basic/Intermediate
• Math - Intermediate
• Writing

The writing class covers both workplace writing as well as academic writing. Math classes are basic to intermediate level. GED preparation is offered in all five subjects on the test, and we also help you with test-taking strategies. We also offer English for Speakers of Other Languages to help recent immigrants and refugees learn the English language for work environments.
