SEATTLE, WA (June 1, 2020) – Seattle Goodwill industries will reopen most of its operations in Kitsap County June 4 – 11. Stores will open first on June 4 for shopping and will start collecting donations one week later on June 11. Plans to reopen our Kitsap County Job Training & Education Center located in our Bremerton store are also underway.
The end of the year is the perfect time to donate to Goodwill! The simple act of cleaning out your closets and donating to Goodwill will help us help others with free job training and education programs.
On Saturday, December 9 between 10 am and 4 pm, Seattle donors can open the Uber app and request a pickup for their donations to be delivered by an Uber driver directly to a local Goodwill location, free of charge
The Goodwill Youth Aerospace Program is a two-year program which provides high school students with a smooth transition through their senior year toward a career in aerospace.

Key Bank has awarded Seattle Goodwill and Everett Community College (ECC) a $75,000 grant to support the Seattle Goodwill Youth Aerospace Program and Everett Community College enrollment. The check will be presented to Seattle Goodwill and ECC at 2:30 pm Aug. 16.
Goodwill and ECC partner in this two year program to help youth develop the knowledge, skills and motivation to achieve in school as they simultaneously learn to contribute positively to the greater community, be competitive in the job market and successfully enroll in and complete post-secondary education.
